Who We Are

Wausau Dance Theatre is a nonprofit regional performing company involved in outreach programs throughout the community and surrounding areas. Our mission is to provide excellence in performance, training, and educational activities in the art of dance. We strive to provide accessibility to dance through various artistic collaborations, our classroom Access Dance program, and our scholarship Dance Chance program. WDT works in community settings to bring dance experiences to all audiences with an emphasis on traditionally underserved populations. WDT is one of the few arts organizations in Wisconsin that has been supported by the National Endowment for the Arts.

This charming ballet retells the beloved fairy tale with beautiful choreography, colorful costumes, and expressive storytelling that delights audiences of all ages.
