Summer Programming 2024
The Central Wisconsin School of Ballet offers a variety of summer dance programs for dancers ages 3 to 22. Our five-week Student Division Summer Intensive Program runs from June 17 to July 18 and culminates with an outdoor performance at Stewart Park on the evening of July 18. Our themed camps run from June 11 to July 25 and offer our youngest dancers an introduction to dance in a fun environment that includes their favorite characters! We are also thrilled to be offering experienced area dancers the opportunity to train with instructors from American Ballet Theatre!
Student Division Summer Intensives
Our Student Division is for dancers ages 7 to 18. Professional instructors, from ballet to broadway, come and work with our students. This summer, our guest instructors include Leann Underwood, Faculty at American Ballet Theatre; Veronica Yeager Cabling, formerly of Odyssey Dance Theatre; and CWSB’s own former instructor, Michelle Fritsche. Students have the opportunity to enjoy ballet, jazz, contemporary, and musical theater classes with some of our nation’s best!
International Ballet Masters Intensive
The Central Wisconsin School of Ballet is proud to welcome back Carlos Lopez, American Ballet Theatre’s Director of Repretoire, for a week-long masters intensive! From July 29 to August 2, dancers ages 9 to 22 have a unique opportunity to work with one of the best international ballet masters!
Children’s Program
Our Children’s Program offers five weeks of instruction in ballet, jazz, lyrical, and acro classes. The purpose of this these classes is not only to teach children new steps but also to instill confidence and a love of dance!
Children’s Themed Camps
Our themed camps are three-day programs for children ages 3 to 9. Children enjoy dance, snacks, and crafts. The purpose of these camps is to introduce students to the arts and a variety of dance styles. This summer our camps include: Camp Fairy Ballerina, Camp Bluey, Camp Sparkle, Barbie Dance Party, & our Taylor Swift Dance Party!
