Who We Are

Wausau Dance Theatre is a nonprofit regional performing company involved in outreach programs throughout the community and surrounding areas. Our mission is to provide excellence in performance, training, and educational activities in the art of dance. We strive to provide accessibility to dance through various artistic collaborations, our classroom Access Dance program, and our scholarship Dance Chance program. WDT works in community settings to bring dance experiences to all audiences with an emphasis on traditionally underserved populations. WDT is one of the few arts organizations in Wisconsin that has been supported by the National Endowment for the Arts. 

Thriller: A Dance Spooktacular brings ghosts, ghouls, and other creatures of the night to life in a thrilling theatrical dance production for the whole family. Imaginative choreography, dramatic costumes, and a touch of Halloween magic come together in a performance that is spooky, spirited, and full of surprises.
