Who We Are

Wausau Dance Theatre is a nonprofit regional performing company involved in outreach programs throughout the community and surrounding areas. Our mission is to provide excellence in performance, training, and educational activities in the art of dance. We strive to provide accessibility to dance through various artistic collaborations, our classroom Access Dance program, and our scholarship Dance Chance program. WDT works in community settings to bring dance experiences to all audiences with an emphasis on traditionally underserved populations. WDT is one of the few arts organizations in Wisconsin that has been supported by the National Endowment for the Arts.

Alice in Wonderland

Don’t be late for this very important date! Wausau Dance Theatre is delighted to present the fabulous family favorite, Alice in Wonderland. We are all MAD about this show and we hope you will be too!

When: May 2 at 1:30 p.m. & 5:30 p.m.
Where: The Grand Theater at 401 N. 4th Street in Wausau

You and your family are cordially invited to our Mad Hatter Tea Party!
Join us for a whimsical afternoon of tea, treats, & merriment as we celebrate all things curious & delightful.

Date: Saturday, May 4, 2024
Time: 11:00-12:30 p.m.
Location: The Great Hall of the Grand Theater
Activities: Crafts, Games, Character Meet-&-Greet, Behind-the-Scenes Tour
Ticket Fee: $25 per person.

Participants will also enjoy early access seating!

All proceeds from this event will go to the CWSB scholarship fund, which provides over $14,000 in financial assistance to area children every year. Our aim to to marke dance education & performance opportunities available to all.
